Too many classical school FAQ pages read like policy handbooks: vague headers, dry bullet points, and answers that feel like they were run through a lawyer and a thesaurus.
Instead of building trust, they create distance. Parents click hoping for clarity—and leave feeling like they need a translator.
Here’s what that looks like:
- “What is the drop-off policy?” → “Drop-off begins at 7:45am. See handbook for full procedures.”
- “What’s the curriculum like?” → “We follow a rigorous classical model grounded in ancient traditions.”
- “Is there homework?” → “Homework expectations vary by grade level and subject.”
None of these actually answer the question.
The fix is simple: write like a human being talking to another human being. If a parent asked you these questions at an open house, would you respond with a PDF and a disclaimer? Or would you have a real conversation?
Use your FAQ page to do just that. Flesh out the answers. Add examples. Be honest and helpful—not overly cautious or robotic. It builds trust faster than any marketing line ever could.
And if you’re not sure what to say, ask the people who answer parent calls all day long. Your front office probably knows exactly how to explain every FAQ—because they already do.
